Test Tooling Analyst SEPA Direct Debit
1. Context of the mission
The Single European Payment Area - SEPA – aims to work as a single domestic payments market in which
citizens and economic actors will be able to make payments as easily and inexpensively as in their home
country. It consists of the European Union Member States plus Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and
Switzerland.
Client has implemented a common infrastructure and operations for SEPA
Credit Transfers – in production since January 2008. Client is responsible
for upgrading this infrastructure for SEPA Direct Debits with a mandatory production date of November
2009.
We are actively searching 1 test tooling analyst to support the ‘business testing component” of this project.
This test tooling analyst will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.

Period mission
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 11 months with possible extension.
3. Language requirement
Sound knowledge of English and of French and/or Dutch is required (spoken & written).

Brussels (near Central Station)

Required level and content of
education
Graduate.
Personal skills
Mandatory: - precision and clarity (oral, written)
- communicative (within team and with IST & other
partners) - knowledge of English is a must
Preferable: - flexibility (in peak periods extra efforts may be
required)
- fast learner
- team player
- ability to compromise on solutions with multiple parties
(business, IT)
Business experience required
Mandatory: - 1-3 years of professional experience in banking,
project environment
Preferable:
Technical experience required
Mandatory: - affinity with systems (Microsoft, Unix and Mainframe)
and processes
- affinity with Microsoft Office development tools (MS
Access, VBA)
- affinity with market test tools
- ability to work with IT department to transfer & explain
specifications to developers
Preferable:
Functional experience required
Mandatory: - Expertise in test preparation & execution, roll-out
support (V-model)
- Ability to work with IT department to develop testing
tools for business data generation, automated test
execution (scripting) and non-regression testing
- risk awareness (judging severity of incidents)

6. Objective of the job
§ Development, maintenance & support of an automated test tool for the SEPA Direct Debit
project in line with the requirements of the various integration test teams (IT & Business)
