Technical Risk Assessment Consultant
1. Context of the mission
In the context of a major program consisting of separating systems, data and network, client is searching an
IT consultant to execute Information Security Risk Assessment.
2. Period mission
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 4 months with possible extension.
3. Language requirement
English, French and/or Dutch. (second language has to be English)
4. Localisation of the job
Brussels (near Central Station).
5. Required knowledge and experience
Required level and content of
education
University graduate.
Personal skills
Mandatory: - Good inter-relational capabilities (face-to-face
meetings) - Good listener
- Good written and spoken English.
- Analytical
Preferable: Good written and spoken Dutch and/or French
Business experience required
Mandatory: - 3-5 years of professional experience in IT, preferably
architecture and or development projects.
Preferable:
Technical experience required
Mandatory: - Senior in Information Security
- Thorough knowledge of risk assessment
methodologies (Sprint, EBIOS, IRAM …) and best
practices (ISO17799, ISO 27002).
Preferable:
Functional experience required
Mandatory:
Preferable: Banking environment
6. Objective of the job
Using a methodology developed internally and based on the ISO27002 framework of information security
controls, the consultant will:
Deploy the risk assessment methodology in a number of already identified projects:
- identify and assess the risks,
- define mitigation actions together with the project leader and a security architect
- monitor the implementation of the recommended actions
- participate to the elaboration of the monthly risk report
The outcome of the risk assessment as well as the status updates collected throughout the implementation are
collected in a central database
The consultant will work under the responsibility and guidance of a project manager (in charge of the global
risk management) and in close collaboration with projects leaders and security advisory architects.
