221:ORAKLE/ORSAT(Rijswijk)
Functie omschrijving:
Operations Readiness and Assurance team (EPT-PO) have developed a process – (OR&A) – designed for global application in the Shell EP Project world. The main components are a website known as ORAKLE and an OR&A Self Assessment Tool known as ORSAT. The website is a directory rather than a library i.e. all documents remain in their own specialist technical areas under their appropriate levels of control and updates. Hyperlinks allow access to these documents whether they are within EPT-PO’s immediate purview or they are owned and maintained externally as is the case with the majority of the material. ORAKLE thus requires constant updating: adding and removing links as new material becomes available from many sources within Shell or as previously available material becomes obsolete and the links must be removed.
The ORSAT tool comprises an Access database fronted by Excel output and requires a maintenance back-up system as good business continuity demands. The latest version ORSAT2 is due for release at the end of September 2008.
During the initial months following the rollout of ORSAT2, a resource is required to provide first line support to the projects migrating to the new version of ORSAT.
The ORSAT support will be responsible for the following activities:
· Provide first line support to projects and operating units implementing ORSAT2
· Provide first line support to projects and operating units still using ORSAT1
· Monitor the ORSAT functional mailbox
· Carry out maintenance activities on the ORSAT application
· Produce ORAC reports from the ORSAT databases
· Provide support to the ORAKLE Webmaster on technical aspects of ORAKLE/ORSAT Provide user training for ORSAT to EPT-PO and other project staff in the use of ORSAT
· Maintain the interface between ORSAT and MS Project
Upon completion of the ORSAT2 rollout, the first line support for ORSAT will reduce to run & maintain mode, where the number of man-hours effort for support required is expected to significantly reduce. In the course of 2009 as decision will be taken on further development of ORSAT, i.e. ORSAT3.
Following tools/applications on the Windows 2000 platform are used to support the ORAKLE/ORSAT environment:
· Adobe Acrobat Full
· MS Visio Standard
· MS Access
· Adobe Photoshop
· Adobe Illustrator
· MS Project
Bijzonderheden:
Initially job is a first line support role during the rollout of the application. (40 hours) Early 2009 this will change to run & maintain activities (estimated 1 day/week) Further development of ORSAT is envisaged during the course of 2009 (estimated 40 hours week) for longer duration depending on the scope of work.
